Loung Ung is a writer, speaker, and human rights activist who is most well known for her co-screenplay writing for the 2017 Netflix Original Movie, directed by Angelina Jolie based on Ung’s memoir, First They Killed My Father. She speaks at conferences and events all over the world, telling her experiences on Cambodia, war, genocide, and survival.
